Since 1992, Jimmy Dorrell has been executive director of Mission Waco, a Christian-based non-profit organization that ministers to the poor and unchurched. He also serves as pastor of Waco's Church Under the Bridge. He teaches Urban ministry at Truett Seminary and civic and community education classes at Baylor. Both classes involve students in local hands-on volunteerism.
